This post is a response to a question from a reader, asking “How can I not be boxing no life?” In my opinion, boxing no life is a false hope. Whether there is a boxing ring or not, there is still a boxing no life.
Boxing no life is a false hope.
I think that’s a fair point. Boxing no life is a false hope because the idea that the people you’re fighting are the actual fighters is a big lie. While they may look identical to you in the ring, they are in fact not the fighters you are fighting. The ring is a mask. If you don’t look like the other guy, you don’t look like the other guy.
Boxing no life isn’t a lie, it is a false hope because the idea of actually being the boxer doesn’t really exist. No, it is a false hope because the idea of actually fighting is a big lie. No, it is a false hope because it seems too easy. No, it is a false hope because the idea of actually fighting is a huge lie. No, it is a false hope because the idea of actually playing a game is a big lie.
I hate to say it, but boxing no life is the greatest lie in the history of lies. Boxing no life is so very, very bad. If you want to be in a ring, be the person with the most money, sex, and power, and you can bet your life you will never, ever be the one actually doing the fighting. If you want to be in a ring, be the person who actually hits the ropes.
It’s true. If you want to be in the ring, you are going to be the person who hits the ropes. I used to be a fighter. Don’t get me wrong, there are some great fighters in the UFC, but they are fighters. The problem is that the UFC has become a shadow of its former self.
Boxing is the biggest cash cow in the entire world. In the past, the UFC was the only place to get a fight with a really big TV deal. That is no longer the case. The UFC has had to turn fighters into millionaires or else lose money. Its business model is now more like the old movie The Godfather: Part II. At the end of the day, the UFC is a glorified version of the old movie.
The UFC’s business model has become more like the old, pre-mortal-bonded, New York City-based boxing-fight-machine-that-used-to-be, New York City-based-boxing-fight-machine-that-used-to-be, New York City-based-fighter-machine-that-was. The UFC has become a shadow of its former self.
In an industry dominated by talent with large salaries and large egos, the UFC has created a situation where fighters are competing for only a portion of what they used to earn from actual fights. Not a problem if you’re a fighter, but a problem if you’re not. Fighters do get killed, but that’s not as much of a problem as it used to be.
You can still watch fights in the UFC, but the violence is much less. The UFC has removed the stipulation that fighters must box. Fighters can get paid to fight, and the pay is very good, but theyre still allowed to get up and go to the floor and knock people out with one punch.
